NBA PICKS JAN 27

I’m down to -4.50 points with my picks on here.

Tonight I’m going with:

Indiana Packers -3.5 (2.02)

New Orleans Hornets (2.64)

SUPER BOWL XLII REMATCH

The Conference Finals turned a very small profit on my bets.

Moneyline Picks

New York Giants (2.24)

Spread Picks

Baltimore Ravens +7.5 (1.87)

Total Picks

New York Giants/ San Francisco 49ers Over 42.5 (2.02)

Baltimore Ravens/ New England Patriots Over 50.5 (2.02)

I went over in each of the games. I liked the Giants offence to throw on the 49ers defence often, which they did. Eli Manning attempted 58 passes but it wasn’t enough to get over the 42.5 number. With the Patriots over is usually a good bet.

I hear that this guy is putting together a Super Bowl party if any of you are interested.

I’ve been struggling with the NBA bets I put on here. Currently I am 2-for-7 for -3.50 points.

I have one pick for tonight.

Indiana Pacers 1.70

NBA PICKS JAN 19

Rough night last night with only one winner out of four picks. Minnesota was looking good to cover up eight points with four seconds left and at the line to shoot two. Of course both free throws were missed.

Tonight I have one pick.

Utah Jazz 1.73

Since starting to put my picks on here I am 2-for-6 with a loss of 2.50 points.

NBA PICKS JAN 18

Went 1-for-2 yesterday for a loss of 0.40 points.

Tonight’s picks:

Philadelphia 76ers -6.5 (2.08)

Minnesota Timberwolves -8.5 (1.96)

Toronto Raptors/ Boston Celtics Under 177.5 (1.90)

Dallas Mavericks 1.77

NBA PICKS JAN 17

A pair of picks for tonight.

Utah Jazz 1.60

Detroit Pistons 4.00

TEBOW HAS TIMED OUT

One of the best finishes I’ve ever seen in the game between the New Orleans Saints and the San Francisco 49ers. Unfortunately my bets for Premier-Betting came out on the losing end in that game.

Moneyline Picks

New Orleans Saints (1.56)

Spread Picks

Houston Texans +7.5 (1.91)

New Orleans Saints -3.5 (1.98)

Total Picks

New York Giants/ Green Bay Packers Over 52.5 (1.91)

My NHL picks with Premier-Betting have been going much better as of late.

I do not do NBA picks with them but have been doing well so far on the season. I don’t have any picks for tonight but I will begin to add my daily picks on here.

TIM 3:16

Just when you thought he was done Tebow Time has been resurrected. Tebow performed another minor miracle in overtime on the first play, throwing an 80-yard touchdown pass to Demaryius Thomas. Pittsburgh brought their safeties in to stop what they thought would be a first down run play. Thomas ran a post which works out perfect with no high safety covering the middle of the field.

I expected Denver to have a tough time moving the ball against the Pittsburgh defence, even with Pittsburgh missing Ryan Clark. Denver had success throwing the ball as Tebow threw for (oddly enough) 316 yards on just 21 attempts.

My picks took a beating on Sunday as for me it was just as big of a surprise that Atlanta had trouble moving the ball on the Giants.

Spread Picks

Cincinnati Bengals +3.5 (1.91)

Atlanta Falcons +3.5 (1.82)

Total Picks

Cincinnati Bengals/ Houston Texans Over 38.5 (2.00)

Detroit Lions/ New Orleans Saints Over 58.5 (1.95)

PittsburghSteelers/ Denver Broncos Under 33.5 (1.91)

Looking forward to the divisional round it is interesting that the San Francisco 49ers are such a big underdog at home. I was hoping to get some value with New Orleans but it isn’t the case.

If you’re a trend better or like looking at past results I really like this site, especially looking at totals.

Trading the NBA is very interesting this season. There are plenty of opportunities to capitalize pregame and especially during the game. With the condensed schedule there are teams playing three nights in a row and six games in eight nights. Fatigue is an issue and should be more of an impact as we get further into the season.

HOLMES GONE HOME

After an altercation in the huddle near the end of yesterday’s game, Jets’ wide receiver Santonio Holmes was benched. Today he was escorted out of Meadowland’s Stadium by a member of the Jets’ Public Relations. It’s not looking like he will be back next season with the Jets after signing a $45-million deal prior to last season.

There are a couple of head coached that will not be returning with their teams. Steve Spagnuolo and Raheem Morris were both fired today by the Rams and Bucaneers respectively.

The playoff match ups are set for Wild Card Weekend.

Saturday

Cincinnati @ Houston

Detroit @ New Orleans

Sunday

Atlanta @ NY Giants

Pittsburgh @ Denver

A couple of interesting lines for these games are the totals in two games. Detroit and New Orleans are expected to play a shootout with the total set at 58.5. The total in the Pittsburgh, Denver game is at 34.5.

A tough day to wrap up the season with my NFL picks.

Moneyline Picks

Seattle Seahawks (2.30)

Dallas Cowboys (2.34)

Spread Picks

Buffalo Bills +12.5 (1.81)

Minnesota Vikings -1 (1.90)

Kansas City Chiefs +3.5 (1.88)

Total Picks

Carolina Panthers/ New Orleans Saints Over 55 (2.01)

Washington Redskins/ Philadelphia Eagles Over 46.5 (2.04)

Pittsburgh Steelers/ Cleveland Browns Under 37 (1.91)

Buffalo blew a 21-0 lead to the point where they couldn’t even cover 12.5 points. The Vikings also blew a lead and Seattle lost in overtime after winning the coin toss.

WELCOME BACK NBA

I went 0-for-1 on my bets last night in the NBA, but trading the Thunder/ Timberwolves game made up for that loss. My punt was an under in the Toronto/ Cleveland game with the total set at 195.5. The Raptors won the game 104-96, which was quite surprising to me. Toronto doesn’t have much scoring, or talent at all after Bargnani. I will continue to look for unders for Raptor games.

It may be worth looking into taking unders in the Golden State games. Last night the Warriors played to a slower tempo than they have been accustom to over the past few years. A new coach may have a lot to do with that.

My NFL picks for Premier Betting turned out a profit this weekend going 6-3-1.

Moneyline Picks

San Diego Chargers (2.20)

Spread Picks

Jacksonville Jaguars +7 (1.95)

Total Picks

Denver Broncos/ Buffalo Bills Over 42.5 (2.04)

Jacksonville Jaguars/ Tennessee Titans Under 40 (1.94)

Miami Dolphins/ New England Patriots Over 47.5 (1.95)

New York Giants/ New York Jets Over 46 (2.00)

Tampa Bay Buccaneers/ Carolina Panthers Over 47.5 (1.99)

San Diego Chargers/ Detroit Lions Over 51.5 (2.00)

San Francisco 49ers/ SeattleSeahawks Under 38 (1.96)

Atlanta Falcons/ New Orleans Saints Over 52.5 (1.98)

Hope everyone out there had a great Christmas and wishing everyone a Happy New Year.

THE STREAK ENDS

Three long streaks end in week 15 of this NFL season. The Packers lost, dropping their record to 13-1. The most suprising thing was that the loss was to the injury riddled Kansas City Cheifs. The Colts ended their threat of going 0-16 by beating the Tennessee Titans. Finally Tim Tebow and the Denver Broncos didn’t provide some magical comeback in the 4th quarter.

Tim Tebow SNL skit

Another solid week with my NFL picks. I finally jumped on the bandwagon for the Packers to cover a big spread and it obviously didn’t work out well.

Moneyline Picks

Seattle Seahawks (2.80)

Spread Picks

Green Bay Packers -13.5 (1.96)

Seattle Seahawks +3.5 (2.00)

Washington Redskins +7.0 (1.87)

Total Picks

Seattle Seahawks/ Chicago Bears Under 35.5 (1.98)

Washington Redskins/ New York Giants Over 46.5 (2.00)

New England Patriots/ Denver Broncos Over 46 (2.00)

Baltimore Ravens/ San Diego Chargers Over 46 (2.00)

Cassini’s XX Draws continue to struggle because of a late goal on his only pick. This week Cassini has some mid-week draw picks.
