About Me

My name is John, I was born and raised in PEI, Canada. I have lived in PEI for all of my life with the exception of three years when I completed an Industrial Engineering degree at Dalhousie University. Gambling was part of my life from the age of nine when kids from the neighborhood would come over to play poker.
Growing up math was always my strongest subject, I have a very logical mind. Sports were and still are a big part of my life, from playing to coaching several sports, I can’t give up baseball. With this background it seemed natural to bet on sports. I started playing Government sports betting games at the age of 13, eventually moving onto sportsbooks. While at University I spent many hours developing spreadsheets, databases etc. in attempts to gain advantages on sportsbooks, even submitting some of my work for school credit. I continued to tell peers, classmates or anyone who would listen that I would make a living from betting on sports gaining many doubters. Eventually I came across Betting Exchanges and now make a living as a Betting Exchange Trader, primarily on Betfair’s website. The combination of knowledge of math, sports and betting lines all help me in my work.
I decided to start this website in an effort to share the knowledge I have obtained concerning everything related to betting, get feedback from other sports bettors and perhaps gain more knowledge myself.
