PIRATES HAVE HAD A ROCKY ROAD
The Pittsburgh Pirates haven’t had a winning season since 1992. They aren’t going to change that this year as the club is 30 games below .500. I’m not giving them much of a chance tonight against one of the best home teams in Major League Baseball.

Detroit has dropped six straight games, including five over four days since play resumed from the All Star Break. They are looking more like the Detroit Lions than the Tigers. Tonight is a good chance to take an unbeaten pitcher going for the AL West Division leaders.
