Celtics at Nets Preview
It looks like the Boston Celtics are back on track as they have won their past three by at least six points over Atlantic Division rivals. Prior to Sunday’s win over the Toronto Raptors the Celtics had dropped seven of nine. In that stretch Boston lost four in a row, the longest losing streak since the acquisition of Ray Allen and Kevin Garnett.
Boston is now set for the second half of the home and home with the New Jersey Nets set to take place Saturday afternoon at IZOD. The two teams met Wednesday with Boston winning 118-86. The Celtics had the form which they had at the beginning of the year, opening a franchise best 27-2, shooting over 56% from the field.
Expect more of the same in this match-up. The Nets just can’t match up with Kevin Garnett. Wednesday Garnett had 20 points and nine rebounds in only 24 minutes of playing time.
