Ray Allen made a 3-pointer with 0.5 seconds left on the clock to give the Boston Celtics a 100-99 win over the Philadelphia 76ers. Allen had 23 points while Paul Pierce had a game high 29 to lead the Celtics who were missing Kevin Garnett for the second consecutive game. This win gives the Celtics a 12-game win streak.

Trading this game on Betfair gave me my second largest win on Betfair. Near the end of the fourth quarter approximately $60,000 was placed to back the 76ers at odds of 1.20. I took about $12,000 of it, meaning I was laying the 76ers. This would translate to backing the Celtics at 6.0 for $2,000. Obviously I wasn’t the only person that took a large chunk of this. While the game went to break some traders got anxious to get rid of it so they were actually backing the 76ers as low as 1.18. It was a great opportunity to get value on the Celtics. Through the remainder of the game I layed the Celtics at various prices. You can see below how I did trading this one.
