Clippers upset Celtics

The Los Angeles Clippers upset the Boston Celtics Wednesday 93-91 night. The Clippers were lead by Zach Randolph who scored 30.

The Celtics have been going through some injury trouble, missing both Kevin Garnett and Brian Scalabrine for this game. Also, Paul Pierce dislocated his thumb during this contest but X-rays taken after the game were negative.

Pierce went 7-of-19 against the Clippers, scoring 20 points. Boston relied on Pierce down one in the dying seconds of the fourth quarter. He missed the 13-footer. The Celtics were then forced to foul Zach Randolph, who made both free throws, leaving just six seconds left. Even at this point the Clippers could have been backed for 1.20 on Betfair. The game ended with Rajon Rondo turning the ball over.
