Free MLB Betting Tips: Minnesota Twins vs. Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim
It’s the second game of a three game set between the Minnesota Twins and the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. I’m going to skip the rant about the Angels name and cut right to the chase.
The Twins are going to send Francisco Liriano to the hill. Liriano is a solid young prospect but has been awful this year. Liriano is 4-9 with a 5.33 ERA and like most pitchers his ERA is higher on the road. To make things worse for Liriano the Angels are 19-10 against southpaws this season.
Liriano hasn’t worked deep into games this year, which could be trouble for a Twins bullpen that has been overworked lately. Last night starter Scott Baker went five innings and Wednesday night Glen Perkins only game them one inning as the Twins were trounced 16-1 by the Oakland A’s.
It was the same Oakland A’s that Angels’ starter John Lackey threw a complete game three-hitter against in his last start. I think you have to go with Lackey and the Angels here.
