Grubber’s NFL Betting Exchange Trading Strategy
Hi Betting Advantage readers, my name is Graham Lewis, but call me Grubber, everyone does. I run GrubbersBettingTips.com and also concentrate on NFL predictions at MacTalksNFL.com like John, I also write for the Betfair Canada blog.
John has kindly appeared as a guest on Mac Talks NFL and invited me to do a post on The Betting Advantage.
There are a few angles I take when betting, but like John I now trade for the most part and the NFL markets on the betting exchanges have been really good so far this season.
My game of choice for trading this week is also the game that will be the most exciting to watch. The New York Jets pay a visit to the New Orleans Saints and both teams will be looking to extend their 3-0 record.
I have gone for the Jets to win this, but I don’t have the confidence to put a straight bet on it. This is where betting exchanges come into play; by trading you don’t expose yourself to full risk. For example, my strategy on this game will be to back the Jets (in fact I already have) at odds of 3.50 and then put in a lay bet at odds of 2.30. By increasing the stake on the lay bet you set it up to win money on both outcomes of the game.
Of course you have to be confident that the odds will move in the direction you predict (at any point during the game), but predicting odds movement is much easier than predicting the outcome of the game.
This might all sound complex if you have not done it before, but trust me it is not that hard when you have practiced a few times. John has also provided some great information about it on his betting exchanges page.

Interesting information. Many people aren’t aware of betting exchange, let me explain you about it in simple words. Betting exchanges are emerging as the best sportsbetting sites because they offer better odds than traditional bookmakers and you don’t see as much of your betting profit disappearing into the bookie’s pockets.
