Knicks Knock off Pacers

Nate Robinson had a huge night scoring a game high 41 points to lead the New York Knicks to a 123-119 win over the Indiana Pacers. Robinson had 32 second half points including a layup with 26 seconds left to give the Knicks the lead. Al Harrington had 27 while David Lee had a double-double in the high scoring affair at Madison Square Gardens.

The Knicks led for most of the fourth quarter but it was always a close game making it a good one to trade on Betfair

As you can see above I traded well in this game.

Am quite intereseted in learning more about trading NBA basketball games. Would you have any advice for someone starting out on these markets. Already trade on Betfair, mainly on pre-race UK racing markets. I’m guessing your entrance points are based on value, or do you perhaps follow trends. Also does your strategy involve following the game and scalping the market on key baskets. I’m based in the UK, so following the games live might be a bit of an issue. Would appreciate any pointers you may have in regards to trading these markets. Thank you.

Thanks for the comment Peter. My advice to you would be to start small or watch the markets without betting at first. Look for opportunities where you would jump in.

My entrance points are based on value. Sometimes a less liquid market can be good in the sense you could get better value because nothing else is offered for a side. Of course a less liquid market is harder to get both sides traded on.

Value is the key. You may lose some games but long term you will do better.
