Hi Dave,
I am trying to make value bets, but it would depend on the market. For less liquid markets I would put bets out there hoping to get matched. The amount would be in correlation to the liquidity. For more liquid markets I would try to match bets that are out. To trade it back I would put a bet on the other side at what I thought was value. Somtimes this involves hanging on to the exposure for a bit, or never getting the other side fully matched.
