Masters Preview - Let’s Get Some Value
Just like everyone else I’m going to start off by talking about Tiger Woods. You can back him on Betfair for 3.7. I’ve seen many sportsbooks have him below +200. You would expect Tiger to win the Masters at least once over the next three years. Anyways, we will try to find some value elsewhere:
I really like Paul Casey again this week. He is obviously playing great right now and has a good track record at Augusta. 30.0 seems like a good price to me.
Everyone seems to be talking about Retief Goosen. He has won this year. He can be backed for 27.0 on Betfair. I don’t see this price at great value but I will keep an eye on him.
Zach Johnson has that winner mentality when it comes down to it. He’s won this year and won the 2007 Masters with Tiger right behind him. 48.0 looks like great value.
I realize that Jim Furyk isn’t have the best year but I was surprised to see him on the board at 95.0. Maybe he can surprise everyone.
Fred Couples can be backed for 180.0. Now he likely won’t win the tournament, if he was close I would expect him to finish in the manor he did last weekend. He may be worth a back and then layed if he gets off to a good start. He’s only missed one cut at 25 starts at the Masters.
Dark horse: Danny Lee 370.0
