Michael Vick Is An Eagle
Michael Vick has signed a one year deal worth $1.6 million with the Philadelphia Eagles. The club also has an option to extend for a second year.
The deal was announced during the first half of Thursday’s preseason game against the New England Patriots. The Patriots won the game 27-25.
After the game the Andy Reid press conference was all about Michael Vick. Reid stated that current starter Donovan McNabb is the team’s quarterback. Reid did hint that Vick may be used at other positions. We may have to wait to find out as Vick is suspended to start the season, although he will be available for the remainder of the preseason.
Vick and the Eagles are scheduled to play the Atlanta Falcons December 6th, in Atlanta. Vick was drafted 1st overall by the Falcons in 2001 and spent six years as the starting quarterback there.
