Monday Night Football: Cardinals Are Too Strong For 49ers

Back in week 1 the 49ers beat the Cardinals 20-16 in Arizona. Things have drastically changed since then for both teams. Arizona’s offence has found their step, while Alex Smith is now San Francisco’s quarterback. The niners also have signed their first round draft pick, receiver Michael Crabtree, since then.

Things are not going will in San Francisco as the niners have lost six of their past eight. There was a time when they held a two game division lead. Now the Cardinals can capture the NFC West with a win tonight.

I’m looking for Kurt Warner and this Cardinal offence to take over tonight. Larry Fitzgerald is having his best season as a pro, while Anquan Boldin has caught fire as of late.

If you followed my picks on My Sports Picks you’ve done well this week. Tonight I have the Cardinals to cover 3.5 points. I’m always iffy on taking teams with a spread like that since three points is so crucial in the NFL. I much prefer to take teams to cover 2.5 and lower. Anyways, I think the Cardinals will win easily tonight. For value I like the match odds more than the spread. You can back the Cards for 1.53 on the Betfair match odds.
