NCAA Preview: Syracuse vs. Oklahoma
The second day of the sweet sixteen has Syracuse taking on Oklahoma. Oklahoma is led by Blake Griffin, who many think will be the first pick in next year’s NBA draft.
This looks like a very tough game to predict as the two teams are evenly matched. I think even if Blake Griffin has a great game Syracuse can stay right with Oklahoma with their balanced offence. Griffin is obviously a big factor in this game but I think Syracuse will hold it close and pull it out in the end, unless Griffin is off. In that case Syracuse will have an easier time.

Second, I have to agree with your preview; Blake Griffin should be the #1 pick in the NBA draft as he is more NBA ready than Ricky Rubio and should have a more immediate impact.
Plus I think with well timed double teaming, and trapping the Orange should be able to get the ball out Blake’s hands enough to get the result. Syracuse defense is slightly under rated in Man-to-Man their Zone is well known but previous Boehiem teams are able to seemlessly transition from Zone to Man and combination styles of D and this will be the difference.
To me the key stat will be Blake Griffin’s points in this one if he goes over 20 Orangemen lose if they keep him just at or under they move on.
