Nets hang on

The New Jersey Nets (13-14) faced the Indiana Pacers (10-17) in an eastern conference showdown Tuesday night. The Pacers had won the two earlier match-ups this season, with the Nets missing their starting point guard, Devin Harris, for both of them. All signs pointed to a close game with most odds set at the Pacers favored by 3 1/2. This is the game I decided to trade on Betfair for the evening.(You can learn more about Betfair on the BETTING EXCHANGES page)

With about five minutes left in the fourth quarter it looked like the Nets had the game well in hand with the highest available odds to back them being 1.13 as you can see below. You can also see it looked like I was in for a loss on the game.
It was at this point when the Pacers started to mount their comeback, as did I. I was quite fortunate to come out of this game without taking a loss.

Ironically enough it was Devin Harris who made the buzzer beating jumper from the top of the key to give the Nets a 108-107 win. As for me you can see below I did come out of the game with a $200 profit. Some better trading earlier could have resulted in a much larger profit, but considering the loss I was looking at I will definitely take the moderate win.
