NFL Betting Tips: Tennessee Titans @ Jacksonville Jaguars

The Tennessee Titans are still winless on the season. They will look to change that Sunday in Jacksonville. The Jaguars just picked up their first win of the season last week after dropping their first two games of the season to the Indianapolis Colts and Arizona Cardinals.

Money has been coming in on the Titans and I have to agree with this pick. Chris Johnson is averaging 6.6 yards per carry, that is crazy. I don’t see Jacksonville stopping him.

The Jaguars have a solid running back of their own in Maurice Jones-Drew. Jones-Drew ran for three touchdowns last week against the Houston Texans. Tennessee’s run defence is far superior to the Texans’.

I have my bet in on the Titans, I advise on doing the same before odds slide more.

I agree with you here. As I said over on http://www.mactalksnfl.com it really comes down to who will give the game away.

The Titans can win this and the odds are dropping fast. Infact, they have dropped a lot since you posted this!

Are you trading this one, or is it a straight bet?

Turnovers are always a key to every game. Here you have two teams that rely heavily on the run game so fumbles (fumble recoveries) will be important. I don’t know if anyone will give the game away but there will most likely be three or four big plays that will decide the result. I think Chris Johnson has a good chance of being involved in those plays.

I will be trading the game, placing bets that I think are value. I won’t be as concerned with securing a profit as much as getting value on every bet. Having said that if I have more on one side I will be trying to match a bet for the other for value.
