NFL Betting Tips: Will the Terrible Towel Be Stomped Again?
It’s that time again! The NFL season is upon us. The season starts Thursday night with the Tennessee Titans visiting the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Most NFL fans remember the last time these two teams met. It was December 21st of last year. The Titans clinched the top seed in the AFC with a 31-14 victory. With the game well in hand LenDale White and Keith Bulluck stomped all over the Steelers’ signature ‘Terrible Towel’.
In that game the Titans defence was all over Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger. Roethlisberger was sacked five times in that game. 3 1/2 of those sacks came from tackle Jason Jones, who will be replacing Albert Haynesworth. Haynesworth, who was injured for that contest, left for Washington in the off season.
So where is the value for this game? The Steelers are known for their defence. I do like their chances to win this game but I think the value is in taking the points with the Titans. I see this game being one of those three point games. The spread is set at 5 1/2 points on Betfair.
