NFL Week 5 Picks

After going 9-4 with my picks last week on a guest post for Mac talks NFL I thought I would try to come out a little better this week. Here are my week 5 picks.

Cincinnati @ Baltimore

Baltimore will win, little question.

Cleveland @ Buffalo

Shot at an upset here, I’m going to try Cleveland.

Dallas @ Kansas City

Kansas City is a very tough place to play. If Larry Johnson can get some success running the ball I think the Chiefs will win. Let’s go Kansas City.

Minnesota @ St. Louis

St. Louis is very bad. I’m going Vikings.

Oakland @ N.Y. Giants

Giants are looking good. Oakland isn’t good on the road. New York is a sure thing here.

Pittsburgh @ Detroit

This might not be the lopsided game everyone is thinking it will be. Steelers still win it though.

Tampa Bay @ Philadelphia

Welcome back Donovan McNabb. Eagles fly high this week.

Washington @ Carolina

Panthers are going to start turning it back around. Great match up for them this week.

Atlanta @ San Francisco

Niners will beat a poor road team in the Falcons.

Houston @ Arizona

Last one with the ball wins. Let’s try the dog, I’m taking Houston.

Jacksonville @ Seattle

Matt Hasselbeck could be back. I’m going Jaguars either way.

New England @ Denver

I’m hopping on this Bronco bandwagon before it’s gone by. Broncos keep rolling.

Indianapolis @ Tennessee

Week five and it’s desperation time for the Titans. However, Peyton Manning is too tough. Take the Colts.

N.Y. Jets @ Miami

I love taking the Jets here. This is the game where I think the value is the best this weekend. Jets defence is amazing.

Interesting that you have picked the Bucs and the Pats as losers this week.

We can’t have two losing teams visiting England in two weeks!? Just remember the magic touch London has, the Giants won the Super Bowl after their visit, and the Saints are heading that way after last years visit. Are we going to see a magic Bucs turn around, or will the Pats start playing to their full potential?

Not sure if it is the fish and chips, the beer or the girls, but it seems to work for our guests ;)

Good luck with the picks this week.

Must be the girls!

I think by the end of the season the Pats will be at their full potential. We seen the difference Wes Welker makes when he is healthy. The Bucs are a different story. Josh Johnson isn’t a strong quarterback in this league.

Good luck with your picks as well Grubber.

Thanks for the comment.
