NHL Playoff Preview: Vancouver vs. St. Louis
This is quite an interesting match up because St. Louis enters the playoffs as the hottest team in the NHL right now. The Vancouver Canucks are playing well by their own right as well. If Roberto Luongo steps up his play, which is already at a high level, like he did in the 2007 playoffs Vancouver will handle the Blues. Luongo’s save percentage in that playoffs was .941, he was just unbeatable. The Canucks have more fire power now than they did that year. Since St. Louis is playing so well right now they will make it a tough series, they may even extend it to the limit. I just don’t see them beating Vancouver.
Prediction: Vancouver in 7.
