Ogilvy wins Accenture World Match Play
For the second time in four years Geoff Ogilvy has won the Accenture World Match Play Championship. Ogilvy won the championship match 4-and-3 over England’s Paul Casey.
I did well trading this event over the five days on Betfair. I did take a loss on the winner market. The main reason for this is that I traded out of my position too early. Below you can see I had backed Ogilvy for a large amount.
Here is how I finished on the market.
I did trade the Ogilvy vs. Casey market better. The profit in this market was mostly thanks to backing Ogilvy at 1.05 for $7500 and eventually laying Ogilvy at 1.03 for the same amount. There was upwards of $30,000 at 1.05 available to be backed when Ogilvy could only be backed in the tournament winner market for 1.03.
Here is my Profit and Loss for this event (+579.50).
