More players than ever before are starting to enjoy the services of
online bookmakers, with sites offering ever more enticing odds to
players across the world. Whether you are a professional bettor or an
enthusiastic amateur, there’s always room for improvement with these
simple tips to help you make the most out of your wager.

Topping the list is responsible money management. Players are
advised to establish wagering limits before they place their bets to
ensure that they never play beyond their means.

It is also advisable to spread allotted bankrolls across multiple bets
giving players the best chance to see a return. What’s more, it is
essential to make sure that bettors do not gamble under the influence
of alcohol which could interfere with judgement. Be sure to be in
complete control wherever and wherever you play.

Last but not least is the value of doing your homework! Different
sports book offer widely discrepant numbers so it is crucial to compare
figures to get the best price. It is also well worth noting that many
sportsbooks offer more generous odds on teasers and parlays.

it always pays to do your research. Why not try your luck at the online
sportsbook today and see whether you can start reaping the rewards
of your wager for yourself!

NFL WEEK 16

In my opinion the Denver Broncos are currently the worst team in the NFL. Their defence is absolutely horrendous.

This week I think Arian Foster runs all over them. Even though Houston is a bad road team I’m going with them this week.

Houston 1.73

WEATHER WATCH

It’s that time of year again. You have to be careful on how much of a factor the weather will be in the final weeks of the regular season and playoffs. Weather has the ability to play a big factor in totals betting and then sometimes bettors overreact to snow flurries. Here is a link that you may want to keep handy.

In optimal conditions I would be all over the Patriots vs. Bears over. As for right now I’ll just go with New England (1.60)

SPORTSBETTING AND POKER

Playing a few hands of poker might not be your first thought if you’re a fan of betting on sports, but it can definitely pay to spend a little time at the poker tables of your favorite online gaming sites. Not only can you learn how to be a long-term winner from playing poker but bonuses and other promotions can add up to substantial profits.

Just like with sportsbetting, proper strategy and game selection can enable poker players to be profitable in the long run, with it being very possible to play online Texas Holdem as a full-time profession. Finding good poker games to take a seat in can be very easy at many online sportsbooks websites, as they tend to attract more casual, recreational players at the poker tables. Betfair is a great example of this, as the betting exchange draws in savvy sports bettors that might know their sports but aren’t necessarily the best poker players.

Another example is the network Winner. At the moment they offer besides Winner Poker also Winner Casino, which let you play all your favorite casino games online (including craps, blackjack, roulette, and slots) for both play chips and real money. While it’s not quite the same as playing for high stakes in Vegas, it’s the next best thing, as far as being able to enjoy exciting casino action without ever having to leave your home. This network will soon open their third site Winner Sports, where you can bet on football, basketball, tennis, baseball, boxing, NFL, rugby, snooker, darts and Formula 1 Racing.

Aside from any profits from your play itself, you can also often take advantage of generous signup and reload bonuses from online sportsbooks and poker sites, with free money added to your account when you initially fund it as well as when you deposit additional funds. This free cash can make a big difference in your bottom line, especially when you’re sharpening your poker or betting skills.

LIONS GO QUIET IN THE FOURTH QUARTER

You just have to come to expect that the Detroit Lions will not come out with a win. They just don’t know how to finish a game. I did back them, but am glad I traded out through the game.

WOULD THE REAL DALLAS COWBOYS PLEASE STAND UP

The Dallas Cowboys find themselves in a position that they did not expect to be in, especially at this point of the season. The Cowboys are playing for pride, instead of attempting to be the first team to play in a Super Bowl at home. In fact this week Dallas will be trying to win their first home game of the season.

Last week the Cowboys did pull off an impressive win in New York over the Giants. They finally got a couple of breaks and perhaps the Giants took Dallas a little too lightly.

Dallas certainly had something to prove last week. As for this week against the Lions maybe we will see the Cowboy team that has shown up the majority of the season.

I really like going with Detroit with the points this week. The Lions have just two wins like the Cowboys, but have lost four games by three points or less. Detroit doesn’t have that knack to finish games just yet, and the one time they did in week one the call went against them.

Detroit +7.5 is a great play this week.

NBA TRADING

John Wall had an outstanding game, in what was the best game of the night in the NBA. Basketball is one of my favorite sports to trade on Betfair.

WEEK 7: WHERE IS THE VALUE?

One of the most interesting games ahead in week seven is the New England v. San Diego matchup.

I think both teams will have to change their approach on offence. New England is obviously missing Randy Moss. The Patriots have nobody to fill that void to be able to stretch defences the way that Moss does. Without that threat New England becomes more of a ball control offence, throwing a lot of passes underneath, mixing in more runs and quick screens.

San Diego is running into injury problems at the receiver position. Already without Vincent Jackson, Malcom Floyd and Legadu Naanee will both miss Sunday’s game. Even tight end Antonio Gates is battling the injury bug. I would expect the Chargers to use their running backs much more in this contest.

I like going with the under 47.5 total points in this game and the under 21.5 first half points.

THE SLOUCH CAN’T LAND JETS

Randy Moss mixed in well with Brett Favre but it wasn’t enough last night.

TOUR CHAMPIONSHIP TRADING

A terrible day of NFL picks was compensated slightly by some trading on the Tour Championship. Furyk deserved to win in my opinion.
