So Close
I was trading the New Jersey Nets, Boston Celtics game last night on Betfair. With the Celtics missing Kevin Garnett it seemed to me that there was great value to be had on the Nets coming on the end of the game. The Nets had the ball with over a minute left down by seven and many were trying to back the Celtics for 1.01.
As you can see I kept laying the Celtics. I kept this situation until the Nets were down by two with the ball in a situation where they would hold for the final shot after their timeout. I reluctantly backed the Celtics for 1.10 at this point. I wanted to guarentee myself a win.
The Nets took a three-point shot which missed, got the offensive rebound and missed another three to lose by two. Obviously I’m glad I backed the Celtics for odds which I didn’t think were value but it was all about my situation.
