Sports Day
Opening day in the MLB season is usually one of my favorite days of the calendar year. Even with last night being the official opening of the season and a couple games postponed today we still get to watch Johan Santana start in Cincinnati. Yes, a traditional opening day in Cincinnati. Santana by the way is looking great through three innings. The only player I like watching more than Santana is Albert Pujols. The guy is amazing. Most of the great hitters in the past have been switch hitters or lefties, then there’s Albert. Such a treat to watch.
If the start of the baseball season wasn’t enough there are NHL games on tonight, and even though there aren’t any NBA games tonight, there is the NCAA basketball finals. Hopefully the crowd can hold Michigan State close and make it a good game.
Time to kick back and take in the day.
