Wild Finish in Indiana

The Indiana Pacers managed to escape with a 96-95 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers Tuesday night. With 20 seconds remaining in the final quarter and the game tied Indiana held for the final shot. T.J. Ford made a 17-footer, putting Indiana up 95-93 with just 0.8 seconds left. The Cavs had time to try an alley-oop off the inbound, which ended up in a foul call. LeBron James sank both free throws and the game was tied again with 0.2 remaining in the fourth quarter. The Pacers then tried a similar play and James committed a foul, most likely a make up call for the previous one. Danny Granger made one of two from the line and that was how the game ended.

Cleveland coach Mike Brown was upset with the officiating.

The crazy ending to this game resulted in many winning and losing big on Betfair. Over $9,000 (Canadian) was matched prior to James tying the game with the free throws. After James tied the game at 95 Cleveland became the favorite again, odds for the Pacers to win were matched as high as 2.40 at this point.

Below is the chart for the Pacers to win the game on the match odds on Betfair:

A lot of rumors I have been hearing about the sketchy officiating of the game. I hope nothing comes from it.

I doubt there is anything being it other than a poorly officiated game. The second foul call was likely just to make up for the first one.
